Harold Bennett – master flutist, teacher, craftsman

Here’s one for the cognoscenti – Harold Bennett was perhaps the most important flute teacher of the 1950’s-1980’s.  Check this article out by Jim Walker.  It’s quite brilliantly written (thank you sir, for writing it!)

  1. He was my great-grandfather. Though he died just two months before I was born I am glad to see that he is still remembered. I know that those who studied with him will never forget him, or his relentless pursuit of perfection in music. Thank you.
