This is a piece that I wrote with Carl Hammond a few years ago on a grant from the Jacobs’ Family Foundation for the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit that came to San Diego. The piece is a cry for peace, that “might break out across Israel just as the winds of the chamsin (their version of our Santa Ana winds) blows through every camp, regardless of religion, race or creed.” I hope you enjoy it. This is three excerpts. It’s available for download on Bandcamp.com as well as via CD Baby and CD Now. Thanks for listening. And as Scott Veltman used to say, “Don’t forget to inflate your shoes!”
